It has been learned that the Arakha People’s Government is providing public health training in liberated areas of Rakhine State.
Starting from 1 July 2025 to 28 February 2026, they have opened the first batch of an 8-month-long Public Health Supervisor (Level 2) course with around 100 trainees.
The Public Health Supervisor (2) training includes six subjects:
Basic anatomy, microbiology, and pharmacology
Environmental health
Basic epidemiology
Public health
Primary health care
Basic midwifery
Upon completing the Public Health Supervisor (2) training, participants will receive a course completion certificate and will be appointed to work at rural health departments.
The Arakha Public Health Department also plans to open the Public Health Supervisor (1) course in addition to the Supervisor (2) course as part of its public health training programs.
Since there is still a need for healthcare workers under the Arakha People’s Government, they respectfully invite any dedicated healthcare professionals — regardless of ethnicity — who have the goodwill to serve the Arakha people, to come forward and take up responsibilities.
