TNLA Trains Over 1,000 Special Forces Cadets

The Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) announced on November 13 that it had trained over 1,000 cadets in a special combat course. The graduation ceremony for the course was held on November 9 in a TNLA-controlled area.

During the ceremony, TNLA Commander-in-Chief Major General Tar Naw Riong addressed the cadets. He emphasized the responsibility of each individual to continue defending and securing the 12 townships that had been captured during 1027 operations. He also urged the graduates to uphold a strong sense of patriotism for their nation and the future of the next generation.

The special combat course was conducted in two batches, Batch A and Batch B, and lasted over three months. It focused on enhancing the cadets’ operational and front-line combat skills. More than 1,000 cadets successfully completed the training.

Additionally, on November 11, the graduation ceremony for the 66th Women’s Military Training Course (Batch G) was also held in a TNLA-controlled area. Approximately 200 women completed the course.

According to TNLA, the women graduates have been assigned to various departments, including the administrative division, judicial enforcement unit, women’s development department, information and communication division, headquarters, and the Commander-in-Chief’s office.
