It has been one year, as of June 29, since Matupi town was captured under the Chin Brotherhood Operation Matupi, and the Chinland Defense Force CDF/Matupi has issued a statement expressing special thanks to the Arakan Army for participating in the battle to capture the town.
“We are especially grateful to each and every individual in the Chin Brotherhood, Arakan Army, Yaw Army, and Yaw People’s Defense Force joint forces,” said the Chinland Defense Force CDF/Matupi.
Furthermore, the Chinland Defense Force CDF/Matupi stated that they will always remember and honor the wounded comrades and the fallen heroic martyrs.
Currently, CDF/Matupi is also working on rebuilding the town, clearing mines, enabling people to resettle, and fulfilling the basic needs of the people.
Similarly, efforts are being made from all sides to prevent Matupi town from falling back under the control of the military council, and thanks are also extended to the joint forces making these efforts and to those both inside and outside the country.
