AA Confirms Shooting Down Military Council’s Aircraft in Ann

AA spokesperson Khaing Thu Kha has confirmed that the Arakan Army shot down one of the military council’s aircraft in Ann Township, Rakhine State.

According to reports, on November 10 at 2:30 PM, among two Y-12 aircraft and four helicopters delivering military reinforcements, weapons, and supplies to the Western Command Headquarters based in Ann, one aircraft was shot down.

“An AA artillery strike hit the wing of one aircraft, which emitted smoke and crashed towards Magway,” said a local resident from Ann.

Similarly, it was reported that the Arakan Army captured the military council’s Paepadon checkpoint on the morning of November 11.

Furthermore, it’s reported that the Arakan Army continues its offensive operations to capture Infantry Battalion 371, Regional Command Headquarters, and Military Police Battalion based in Ann town.
